Fevers...

It's been a hard week. Derrick had his Bronchitis on Saturday and Sunday and then Jaegen woke up Monday morning at 3am with a fever so I was up with him for a while. We gave him Tylenol and he went back to bed. Luckily it went down and stayed down. He slept through a lot of Monday. Tori woke up Tuesday morning with a fever. She was 102 degrees when she woke up and so I kept an eye on it to see if it would break or keep going up. It ended up going up around noon to 103 so I gave her Tylenol and it went down to 100 for a little while. We ended up repeated that process with it getting up to 103 and once it got up to 104  and we'd give her medicine. We did it about 3 times a day and it's still going. If she wakes up tomorrow and still has a fever we're going to take her into the doctor. We've taken her temperature a good 20 times daily and we've given her a cold bath. We're trying to do what we can to see if it will break before we need to take her in. It's so sad. We brought her Princess pillow into the living room and set it on the couch and so she has been hanging out on the couch with her pillow, blanket, and Buddy (Her little stuffed animal. We don't really know what it is. It is like a mix of a kangaroo and an elephant, maybe.) She's just keep saying "I'm tired" or "I'm sorry" It's so sad. She handles being sick so well though. She doesn't cry or get real fussy, she just hangs out and likes me to rub her back and arms. We have some wonderful people in our ward who have been willing to help us with anything and helped give Derrick and Tori blessings when we were worried about their fevers. It's wonderful and comforting to be able to get blessings and for Derrick to be able to give blessings. There is something so cool about seeing your husband give your children blessings.
