Computer-less

Derrick, the wonderful, hard-working, man he is, has been taking the computer with him when he goes student teaching, so I don't get it throughout the day, which means I don't get to post as much. I'm trying to convince him that this means we need a nice new desktop computer that will last us forever, but he has yet to agree. I may try to charm him into it. Although, considering he is not working right now and neither am I, so we have no income and no job offers as of yet for German teaching for this next school year... I may not get my wish soon.
Derrick will officially graduate this April. Yay!!! He will have a couple of Independent Study courses to finish by the end of June though to get his diploma though. I'm so excited to finally have school over with. People always say this is a time to cherish, but at the moment I am so ready to be done and have a home (rented or owned) with a yard! I would love to be able to paint my walls and decorate with pictures actually nailed into the walls. I can't wait to get out of the concrete block rooms I'm surrounded by. I love the people here, but I'm tired of the apartment. Not to mention, I think it makes us sick! We have never been the types to be sick often but since we moved in here a year ago we have been sick at least once a month. We get colds and coughs and flu's... It could be that Derrick was working at the MTC, a middle school, and a high school all at the same time so we were coming in contact with everything that was going around, but I think the apartment helped. I'm already looking for houses in towns we have applications in to... Maybe a little over excited to move on, but I love the idea of moving on with our lives.
