Hair cut!

The big plunge! I've never purposely had my hair short. There was once when I was really little that I told my friend she could cut my hair, but just a little bit and she ended up cutting it off just below my ponytail. I think my mom flipped and then just decided to perm it. Other then that my hair has stayed mostly mid-back. Last time I got it cut Derrick suggested I try cutting it short and so I had it cut about 6 inches past my shoulders. Still not short, even though for me it felt short. We went to Fernley to visit and my sister-in-law Darleen threatened that she would cut it off in the middle of the night if I didn't buck up and get it cut at least shoulder length. Well, Ashley, my sister, is going to beauty school right now. So last time we went to Hurricane I had her cut it for me. She did great. It feels wierd to have short hair but I'm loving that it's easy to pull up and not look frizzy and if I pull it up wet it doesn't stay wet all day. It's different and I'm excited to have my long hair back, but I like it.
