When Derrick finished his winter semester at school we got to take a trip to see his family. It was great fun! We stayed with Derrick's sister, her husband and their two kids and Tori got to play with her cousins.
We also went to a park in Sparks and got to hang out on all the fun playground toys and then played volleyball and ran on water.
Derrick's family had to leave for a baby shower in Fresno but we got to spend more time with his sister. We got to hear Darleen, Joe, Chris, and Nate play with their band. They are incredible. They write all their own songs. So talented! They'll be famous one day and I get to be in charge of their fan club!
We also took the kids to chuck-e-cheese. Tori spent the next week going to bed every night saying "Go to Chuck-E-Cheese tomorrow? Ok." It was great to spend much needed time with them.
The kids got to have a cousin sleepover party. Darleen hooked up a projector so that they could watch the "Bee Movie" on the ceiling while they all laid in their seperate beds. It was lots of fun. I love that Tori is already creating fun memories with her cousins!
