Adventures in March and April

I finally downloaded my pictures from the last couple of months onto the computer so we are going to do another picture recap. We've been able to see a little more of Texas the last couple months and it was great. It's nice to find out that not all of Texas is ugly... infact, we might be in the ugliest part of Texas. I may just be spoiled by the beautiful scenery I was raised in, but Odessa is ugly and dirty. We went to Fredericksburg, TX and it was so pretty. It reminded me of California. It was green and there were hills, some big enough to be half mountains. It's only 4 hours away and I think if we get the chance we'll go again. We also had fun playing with friends and celebrating Easter.

A little girl named Mia, the daughter of one of Derrick's co-workers, invited us to her 2nd birthday. They themed it with My Little Pony and had pony rides, a bouncy house, and a pinata.

Jaegen didn't like the pony rides as much as Tori.

We had a tea party at the Reed's house. We got to dress up and wear fun hats.
Tori (in pink) and her friend Hannah (in grey) love to play together, and look alike.
Fredericksburg was a lot of fun. We walked down main street and went to a park.

Because it was Spring Break, they did a lot of cool activities at the Fredericksburg museum. They had teepee's, small houses and school buildings from way back when.

They set up an old food cart that and made bread and cake in dutch ovens.

This guy had a lot of old guns.

We sat and sang with this lady for a while.

Tori learned how they use to make rope.

Jaegen got to help too.

We got to take half of the rope home.

We had LOTS of German food.

We did some laying around.

We went on a family date to the carnival.

We went to Ft. Worth, TX so that Derrick could go to a foriegn language conference. I forgot to take pictures, except for the last day while the kids and I were hanging out in the mall at a pet shop and play area.

Mine was hidden by a bunny taller then I am behind a box on top of the freezer behind me. The basket rests pretty well on my 8 month pregnant belly.
