Trip to Heber

We got a really good deal to go on the Heber Creeper train ride. It was tons of fun. We went on an hour and a half ride through Soldier's Hollow. I took lots of pictures, which I know isn't anything new, but bare with me, I like taking pictures. We made some fun memories. It was our first time on a train in America. We went on a few in Germany but none that were classic, old, and rocky like this.

Afterwards we went out to the Dairy Keen in Heber. It is actually Dairy Keen, not Dairy Queen. "Home of the Train"

Ward Easter Egg Hunt.

Saturday morning we had a ward egg hunt. It was pretty much in our front yard, since our ward consists of our apartment complex. Tori got to run around and collect lots of eggs. Then we dyed eggs and got to hang out and talk with friends.

Jaegens New Bed!

So, I'm one of those mom's who sleeps with their kids in the bed. For the first few months I worry a lot about whether or not they are ok and since I'm feeding them throughout the night, it's just easier, and I like being able to cuddle up next to my sweet babies. Now that Jaegen is getting older and I'm feeding him less throughout the night I've, with some convincing from Derrick, decided it's time for his own bed, so we set up the bassinet next to our bed and set him in it to see what he thought. He seems to like it and the comfy fuzzy blanket we wrapped around the matteress. I miss snuggling up to him, but love that I now get to snuggle up with my hubby more and the best part is Jaegen is now sleeping through the whole night! We are all getting more, much needed, sleep!

Glasses, Models, TV Dates, and Easter Projects

This morning while I was getting breakfast ready I walked in to see Tori playing with Jaegen. She decided that he would look cute with glasses so she kept putting them on his head and he would knock them off and she would replace them again. It was fun to watch. He finally stopped fighting and decided he doesn't mind wearing pink glasses for a little bit.

On Sunday Tori looked so cute in her pajama's with her pig tails so I decided to take pictures and she started posing... She gets that from me. I did the same when I was younger. After her full body pictures she started making faces for her close up. So much personality!

 We've been cutting tv out of our lives a little bit. Derrick and I watch the news and sometimes Who's Line is it Any Way? after the kids go to bed, but as soon as Derrick gets home from school we've been trying to get out of the house and do stuff as a family or play games together since the weather has been better. But, after dinner last Tuesday we decided to watch a little tv before bed time. We decided to make a night of it by popping some popcorn and hanging out on the couch together. Jaegen didn't last very long. 

Easter projects! For our activities this week we've started doing Easter crafts. This week we did a bunny mask, some dressed up bunnies to color and we did a egg matching game. I love working on things with Tori.  

Four Months!

I can't believe how fast time flies. Jaegen is already four months old. He is such a cutie, and such a chunk. We went to his doctors apointment a couple days ago and he is a little over 17 pounds and 24.5 inches long. He and Tori are both tall. It took Tori over a year to get to 20 pounds though and at this rate I don't think he'll have any problems. We get so excited for 20 pounds so that we can switch to a forward facing carseat. The law is you have to be over a year and 20 pounds. I don't think Tori was until about 14 months, even then we were weighing her constantly to see if she had gained that little bit to get there. Jaegen is less of a rolly polly baby and more of a thick baby. He's going to be a tough kid. He's such a cutie.

This month Jaegen also had his first real bath! We've been giving him sponge baths by the sink. Now he is hanging out in the bath tub. He really likes it. He is all smiles and so far he's only peed on us once, so we're doing well.
